With over 16 years’ experience in local government and private practice across NSW and Western Australia, I specialise in complex development assessment, strategic and statutory planning, and high-level stakeholder engagement. I have led multidisciplinary assessment teams, managed planning scheme amendments and structure plans, and exercised delegated authority on complex development applications, appeals and Land and Environment Court matters. My background includes founding Candor Town Planning & Development Professionals to provide clear, customer-focused guidance on all aspects of environmental planning and assessment, supported by a strong track record in training staff, mediating disputes, delivering legally robust consents, and consistently achieving high-quality, compliant outcomes for councils, clients and the community.

SOUTHERN CROSS UNIVERSITY
BACHELOR OF URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING | UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND
Across my planning career at Eurobodalla Shire Council, I consistently maintained the highest development application assessment workload while delivering timely, compliant outcomes on both complex and straightforward proposals. I provided expert advice on planning and environmental legislation, guided applicants through the NSW Planning Portal, and regularly mediated disputes and objections to achieve transparent, workable solutions for all parties. My experience includes front-line duty and development support roles focused on high-quality customer service, pre-lodgement advice and technical support to certifiers and planners, complemented by four years as a legal assistant/paralegal at Clark Law, where I managed files for the Solicitor Director, handled probate and conveyancing matters, and developed strong drafting, client communication and organisational skills that now underpin my planning practice.
